Adventure Into The Unknown
Prologue
Where I lived was once a beautiful planet. It was covered in grass and it had lots of nature. There was a forest by my house with a huge lake in the middle. In the summer, I use to walk up to the lake with my siblings and we use to go swimming in the lake. Our parents didn't mind, as long as we all stuck together. There were nine of us altogether, including myself. I had four older siblings and four younger siblings. My older siblings always cared for us, especially when it was just us lot alone. My younger siblings always make us smile and laugh.
One day we had decided to go out, just us nine. What we didn't know was that it was going to be the last time that we were all going to be together. As we set back to the house after a long day out building dens in the wood, my sister decided that it was getting late and we should head back. I traipsed back to the house while holding my sister's hand. I had a huge refusal to head back, I wanted to stay out for longer. If we did stay, then this story wouldn't have existed. However that wasn't the case.
At the forest clearing, I could see the fear in my siblings eyes.
"Stay here, we'll be back." My brother told my younger siblings and I. He nodded to our older siblings and they ran off. We ran back to the dens, but as I looked over my shoulder for our siblings I could see the destruction that was happening. It was them. The Exo Squadron. They were soldiers that were made up of cyborgs. They were once humans, but the Exo Squadron takes them away at any age and makes them forget who they were and then train them to be soldiers. It's everyone's nightmare.
After an hour of waiting and waiting, we decided to head back home. That's when we witnessed it happening. Our older siblings were being taken away by the Exo Squadron troops.
"NO! BRING THEM BACK! COME BACK!" I shouted at the soldiers, running after their ship. I had tears streaming down my eyes as the ship took off. I dropped to my knees and broke down. As I went back towards where we lived, I could see ashes and remains of my childhood home. Our planet soon became uninhabitable and we had to move. I had the weight of being the oldest on my shoulders as I soon realised that my older siblings weren't coming back.
